Crystal Palace have reached a verbal agreement with Ghanaian champions Medeama over a potential future transfer for highly-rated midfielder Fuzy Taylor, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
The 18-year-old has joined Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb on a season-long loan, but his move to Europe is part of a wider plan that could eventually see him move to the Premier League.
Footy-Africa understands Palace will closely monitor Taylor throughout his spell in Croatia after being impressed by the midfielder during a trial with the club earlier this year.
Palace were encouraged by Taylor’s performances and received positive reports on his ability and potential. However, the English club wanted the teenager to gain experience in Europe before making a decision on a permanent move.
That led to the understanding with Medeama, with Palace now set to follow Taylor’s development at Dinamo Zagreb.

Taylor is expected to initially feature for Dinamo’s youth team, with the Croatian club assessing his progress before deciding whether to give him an opportunity with the senior side.
The Ghanaian did not need another trial to secure the loan move after Palace’s positive assessment helped strengthen his credentials.
Taylor played an important role in Medeama’s Ghana Premier League title-winning campaign last season, attracting attention with his performances despite being only 17 at the time.
His spell in Croatia will now give Palace the opportunity to assess how he adapts to European football before deciding whether to take the next step and bring him to England.
