Salis Abdul Samed, fresh off a loan spell at Sunderland, could be on the verge of another switch, this time to Turkey, where multiple clubs are showing concrete interest in the 25-year-old midfielder, as L’Equipe reports.

In Turkey, Kayserispor and İstanbul Başakşehir are both pushing for a loan deal, which would allow Lens to keep long-term control of the player while giving him valuable playing time.

The Ghana international contributed to Sunderland’s promotion to the Premier League last season but struggled to find full rhythm due to injuries, including a psoas muscle problem. Renowned for his grit and tireless work in midfield, he couldn’t fully display his qualities in the EFL Championship.

Since joining Lens in 2022, Abdul Samed has made 72 appearances, earning a reputation as a disciplined ball-winner with exceptional mobility. Although under contract with Les Sang et Or until 2028, a loan move is being considered to reignite his career.

While Abdul Samed hasn’t spoken publicly about his future, he is thought to prefer a move to one of Europe’s top five leagues. With the transfer deadline looming, his next destination remains uncertain.
