Tottenham Hotspur’s Ghanaian new signing Mohammed Kudus wasted no time making his mark in the Premier League, delivering two brilliant assists on his debut as Spurs opened their 2025/26 campaign with a 3-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who joined Spurs this summer in a high-profile transfer, linked up superbly with Brazilian forward Richarlison, setting him up for his brace that helped seal three valuable points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Kudus expressed his delight at both the result and his personal performance on his debut.

“What mattered is the three points. I work so hard and I’m happy for the performance of myself and the team. I want to help my teammates and create for the strikers, and put them in positions where they can score more goals. We want to do better every day,” he said.

With such a commanding debut, Spurs fans will be excited about the partnership blossoming between Kudus and Richarlison, as well as the attacking spark the Ghanaian brings to their top-four ambitions.
