Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has moved to cool the growing buzz around Antoine Semenyo’s future, insisting the in-form forward remains fully committed to the club despite mounting Premier League interest.

During the recent international break, reports emerged claiming Semenyo’s contract includes a £65 million release clause, an eye-catching figure that instantly reignited speculation just weeks before the winter transfer window.

The 25-year-old only penned a fresh five-year deal in July, but his blistering opening to the 2025–26 campaign has ensured scouts from England’s elite stay tuned in.

Bournemouth vs West Ham Prediction and Betting Tips: Semenyo to star for Cherries

Semenyo has already racked up nine goal contributions, trailing only Erling Haaland in Premier League productivity. Unsurprisingly, that level of output has drawn admiring glances from Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal.

“We are in November. Antoine [Semenyo] is our player, he will continue to be our player. In January, you can ask me about the market,” Iraola told reporters. “But right now, I am not worried about the next market. I am not worried about the situation. In January, we will talk about whatever happened, the players we need.”

The forward’s numbers have cooled since returning from the October international break. He has gone four league games without a direct goal involvement, and his attacking output, once averaging 2.4 shots and 1.4 key passes per match, has dipped to 1.5 shots and 0.3 chances created. The downturn has coincided with Bournemouth losing a bit of momentum in the table.

Nevertheless, the Cherries remain just a single point behind fourth-placed Sunderland, and Semenyo is still viewed as a cornerstone of Iraola’s evolving side. With the season stretching ahead and another transfer window looming, Bournemouth appear determined to keep their prize asset firmly on the south coast, for now.
