Olympique Lyonnais are on the verge of securing the signature of 20-year-old Danish-born midfielder Noah Nartey from Danish Superliga side Brøndby IF, according to French media reports.
The Lyon-based club, long-tracking the young attacking midfielder, appears to be edging closer to finalizing the deal after a prolonged pursuit.
French publication L’Équipe reports that the two clubs are nearing an agreement for a transfer fee around €8 million, with an additional €2 million in potential bonuses and a share of any future resale value.

Should the transfer materialize, Nartey is expected to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Ligue 1 outfit at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, solidifying his move to one of France’s top sides this winter.
This season, Nartey has impressed in Denmark, contributing 7 goals and 3 assists in 25 appearances across all competitions for Brøndby. His performances have made him a coveted prospect in European football circles.
Despite representing Denmark at youth level, Nartey remains eligible to switch international allegiance and could opt to play for Ghana, the country of his heritage.
