Baboucarr Faal is on the verge of completing a permanent move to Karpaty Lviv after an agreement was reached with fellow Ukrainian Premier League side Rukh Lviv, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.

The 22-year-old forward has been one of the standout performers in the Ukrainian top flight this season, catching the attention of Karpaty with his consistency and end product. Faal has registered seven goals and one assist in 16 league appearances, underlining his growing influence in Rukh’s attack.

Beyond these numbers, Faal’s reliability has been equally impressive. He has accumulated 1,440 minutes of action, averaging a full 90 minutes per match, a clear indication of his importance to Rukh Lviv and his ability to handle the physical and tactical demands of top-flight football.

Karpaty Lviv see Faal as a key addition as they look to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the season and beyond.

His pace, work rate and eye for goal are expected to add a new dimension to their attacking options, while his experience in the league should allow for a smooth transition.
