Ojodu City centre-back Qudus Abereoje has completed a move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ansar FC, Footy-Africa can exclusively report.

The transfer was finalised on Monday after both clubs reached an agreement and completed the necessary paperwork.

Footy-Africa understands that the player has signed a two-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.

The towering 6ft 4in defender is expected to continue his development with the club’s youth team as he works toward earning an opportunity with the senior side.

Abereoje becomes the second Ojodu City player to secure a move within the last 24 hours, following Jude Madaki’s transfer to Hungarian outfit Zalaegerszegi TE FC (ZTE FC).

Madaki, a dynamic attacking midfielder known for his flair, creativity, and precise pocket passes, signed a three-year contract with the club. The transfer fee was not disclosed.
