Ghanaian defender Antwi Dacosta joins Anderlecht on loan from Young Apostles

Ghanaian youth international Antwi Dacosta has completed a loan move from Young Apostles to Belgian giants Anderlecht, with the deal running until the end of the season. Footy-Africa understands that Anderlecht have an option to make the deal permanent, depending on the player’s development and performance.

Dacosta, who was part of Ghana’s Black Satellites squad at the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, will be integrated into RSCA Futures—the second team of the club that competes in Belgium’s second-tier league.

The 18-year-old, valued at €50,000 on Transfermarkt, expressed excitement about the move.

“This is a big opportunity for me to grow and challenge myself,” he told Footy-Africa. “Anderlecht is a great club with a good history of developing young players. I’m ready to give my all.”

The move marks a major step for the young defender, who has impressed with his composure and versatility at the domestic level.
