The future of Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna at AIK will be decided at the end of the season, a source has exclusively disclosed to Footy-Africa.

Zadok moved to Sweden from Ikhon Allah Academy in Nigeria a few months ago and has quickly emerged as one of the most sought-after young players in Europe.

The 18-year-old has attracted interest from Bundesliga sides RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund following his impressive performances for AIK.

Zadok has one goal and two assists in three appearances for AIK in the Swedish Allsvenskan, as well as three goals in five games in the Svenska Cupen.

Speaking with Footy-Africa, Ikhon Allah Academy chairman Ayi Mohammed said he is pleased with the player’s development, adding that any transfer decision will be determined by AIK when the summer transfer window opens:

“I discovered him at age 11 and I worked with him for like seven years. He’s a good player and I’m happy with his development. Any transfer would be determined by AIK, but the plan is for him to continue playing and focus solely on football. When the transfer window open in the summer, AIK would decide.”

Ayi Mohammed also disclosed that several other players are set to move to European leagues from his academy in the coming months.
