Gambian international Adama Sidibeh could be on the move again just six months after joining Stockport County FC, with Swansea City, currently considering a summer transfer for the Scorpions striker, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
Sidibeh made the switch to Stockport County in January 2026 from Scottish Championship winners St Johnstone F.C. for an undisclosed fee. The move reportedly included clauses that would guarantee St Johnstone a significant financial return from any future sale involving the Gambian forward.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to life in English football, quickly becoming one of Stockportโs key attacking figures during the second half of the campaign. His performances helped guide the club to the English League One promotion playoff final, although they eventually suffered defeat to Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
Since arriving during the winter transfer window, Sidibeh has scored nine goals in 16 starts across all competitions, attracting growing interest ahead of the summer transfer market.
‘Canโt wait to get going’: Adama Sidibeh completes move to Stockport County
Despite signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with Stockport County, the striker is now viewed as one of the potential departures from the club as interest in his services continues to rise.
With reports suggesting there are conditional clauses attached to his current contract, Stockport County could still make a major profit from a potential transfer, although part of any future fee is expected to go to his former club St Johnstone.
According to Transfermarkt, Sidibehโs current market value stands at around โฌ400,000 as Swansea City weigh up a possible move to strengthen their attacking options for next season.
