Aston Villa are reportedly plotting a surprise move for Senegalese forward Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain, ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Europa League champions are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season as they prepare for a serious challenge in the Premier League, while also aiming to make a strong impression in the UEFA Champions League.
Manager Unai Emery is said to be a long-term admirer of Mbaye, and with the club possibly facing the departure of Morgan Rogers this summer, Villa could see an opening to pursue one of their key transfer targets.
