Currently, Thomas-Asante plays for Coventry City, having joined the Championship side from West Bromwich Albion in August 2024. Brandon Thomas-Asante’s rise through English football is one of persistence, hard work, and continuous improvement:

  • Early years & Non-league development (2017–2020): A product of the MK Dons academy, Thomas-Asante gained valuable experience through loan spells and time in non-league football, including a successful stint with Oxford City. These formative years helped him develop the physical and mental attributes that would define his game. 

  • Salford City & West Brom rise (2020–2024): After joining Salford City, he established himself as a prolific goalscorer and earned a move to Championship side West Bromwich Albion in 2022. At The Hawthorns, he became a regular contributor and earned widespread praise for his energy, versatility, and ability to lead the line. He also won the club’s Goal of the Season award during the 2022/23 campaign.

  • Coventry City (2024–Present): Coventry signed Thomas-Asante for approximately €2.95 million in August 2024. He quickly became a fan favourite thanks to his work ethic and attacking contributions.
