Ghanaian forward Augustine Okrah is in advanced negotiations with Libyan club Al Nasr Benghazi over a potential transfer, Footy-Africa.com understands.
Sources close to the player have confirmed that discussions are progressing well, with Okrah open to making the move as he weighs up the next step in his career.
The 32-year-old is approaching the end of his contract with Bechem United after enjoying an outstanding campaign in the Ghana Premier League. Okrah finished the season with 17 goals, attracting interest from clubs outside Ghana despite his age.
With his current deal nearing expiration, Bechem United are expected to allow the former BK HΓ€cken attacker to leave, with a move likely to be completed on a free transfer.

Okrah’s latest spell at Bechem United has once again underlined the strong bond between the player and the club. Since leaving for the first time in 2014, he has returned on several occasions, using the club as a platform to rebuild his career and secure opportunities abroad.
His fourth stint began in 2024 when he signed an initial one-year contract before extending his stay for another season. During that period, he re-established himself as one of the most dangerous attackers in the Ghana Premier League.
The experienced forward remains highly respected by the club’s hierarchy, and his relationship with the owners has played a key role in each of his returns to Bechem.
Should the deal be completed, Okrah would add experience and proven goalscoring ability to Al Nasr Benghazi as the Libyan side prepares for the 2026-27 season.
