Royal Antwerp have a clear long-term development plan for Ghanaian youngster Luis Narh following his move from Diamond Seed Sporting Club, a source from the player’s camp has exclusively told Footy-Africa.
The Belgian Pro League side officially announced the signing of the highly-rated 18-year-old striker on Thursday after agreeing a four-year contract with an option to extend the deal by a further year.
While confirming the transfer, sources close to the player declined to disclose the financial details of the agreement.
According to the player’s camp, Antwerp view Narh as a project for the future and are prepared to give him the necessary time to adapt to the demands of European football.
“Antwerp have followed Luis for some time and they are convinced about his potential. They see him as a player for the future and have a clear development plan for him,” a source close to the player told Footy-Africa.com.

The Belgian club believes the physically strong forward has the attributes needed to succeed at a high level and intends to oversee his progression carefully.
“The idea is to help him settle and continue developing. They are not rushing anything because they believe his best years are ahead of him,” the source added.
Narh joins Antwerp from Mamobi-based Diamond Seed Sporting Club, a club that has built a growing reputation for developing young talents and creating pathways to professional football abroad.
The teenager attracted attention from several clubs after impressing scouts with his pace, technical ability and eye for goal, but Antwerp ultimately won the race for his signature.
“Luis is excited by the opportunity and ready for the challenge ahead. He understands this is an important step in his career and is fully focused on making the most of it,” the source said.
Narh will now begin the next chapter of his career in Belgium as he looks to continue his development and work his way into Antwerp’s first-team plans.
