While he is just one month into his spell with Denmark top-flight side Vejle BK, Ghanaian midfield gem Bismark Edjeodji has set his sights on huge future successes, with a leap to a top five European league topping his wishlist.
The 18-year-old put pen to paper on a long-term five-year employment contract at Vejle BK, that will run at least until the end of the 2030 season. Edjeodji has already impressed at the club, starting in three successive games. He recorded three assists in the last game, as Vejle BK beat Odense BK 4-0 on Friday.
In an exclusive interview with Footy-Africa, Edjeodji has underlined that he is determined to work extremely hard to make it to one of Europe’s finest leagues, with the Premier League his preferred destination after his stint with Vejle BK.

“Look, I’m extremely impressed with the way I’ve started life at Vejle, with the way the club has welcomed me. Right now, the focus is on improving my game and helping the team achieve the season and future goals,” the youngster exclusively spoke to Footy-Africa in an interview.
“The dream for every young footballer is to play in one of Europe’s biggest leagues, and I will be honest, the same is the case from my end. I would like to play in Spain or Italy, but most importantly, the Premier League. It’s the most watched and prestigious league in the world, so that’s the ultimate target.”
“But, that takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice plus commitment. I, first of all, have to take care of the business and the extra work at the moment with Vejle. This team has given me a chance to showcase myself, and I’ll give more than 100% every time I’m named on the team.”
It’s worth noting that Edjeodji joined Vejle from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United, which he had played for one-and-a-half seasons. Meanwhile, the young midfielder has featured for Ghana’s U16 and U20 teams.
