Everton have opened negotiations with Iliman Ndiaye over a new and improved contract as they seek to secure the long-term future of one of their most influential players, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
The 26-year-old winger is already under contract until 2029, but the Merseyside club is keen to reward his impressive performances with enhanced terms while simultaneously fending off growing interest from several top clubs.
Although discussions between the two parties are progressing, an agreement has yet to be reached. Everton remain optimistic that a new deal can be finalized, strengthening their position amid increasing attention from rival Premier League sides.

Among the clubs reportedly monitoring Ndiaye’s situation is Manchester United, who continue to admire the Senegal international. Reports in May 2026 suggested that the Red Devils were preparing an offer worth £55 million (€63.7 million) in an attempt to lure the attacker away from Goodison Park.
However, Everton are determined to keep hold of their prized asset and are believed to value him at approximately £69 million (€80 million), reflecting both his importance to the squad and his rising reputation within English football.
Ndiaye enjoyed another productive campaign during the 2025/26 Premier League season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 32 league appearances. His ability to operate across multiple attacking positions, combined with his creativity and direct style of play, has made him a key figure in Everton’s attacking setup.
Since joining Everton in July 2024, the France-born Senegal international has continued to develop into one of the club’s standout performers. His consistency at club level has also translated onto the international stage, where he has accumulated 40 senior caps for Senegal.
Manchester United are not the only club linked with the versatile winger. Fellow Premier League heavyweights Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all been mentioned as potential admirers, underlining the growing demand for one of Senegal’s most prominent football exports.

According to Transfermarkt, Ndiaye currently holds a market value of €55 million, though Everton’s reported asking price suggests the club believes his true worth extends far beyond that figure.
With negotiations ongoing and interest from some of England’s biggest clubs continuing to intensify, the coming months could prove crucial in determining whether Ndiaye commits his future to Everton or becomes one of the Premier League’s most sought-after transfer targets.
