Super Eagles forward Femi Azeez faces an uncertain future heading into the summer transfer window as Premier League clubs continue to show their interest in adding him to their squad ahead of next season.
The 25-year-old was one of the standout performers in the Championship last season and he was rightly named in the PFA Championship Team of the Season following his brilliant displays for Millwall, helping them to the semifinals of the playoffs before they were beaten by Hull City.
Azeez scored 11 times and made eight assists during the course of the campaign, and has since gone ahead to make his debut for the Super Eagles. He scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Zimbabwe in the semifinals of the 2026 Unity Cup and also played a key role in the final as Nigeria went on to win an unprecedented fourth title.
However, the London-born forward has expressed desire to test his abilities in the English top flight, which has since raised questions over where he could end up next season.
Here are four potential destinations for the Super Eagles winger.
Aston Villa
Europa League winners Aston Villa are the best placed club to sign Femi Azeez this summer. Unai Emery’s side are in need of reinforcements as they prepare for a return to Champions League next season, while also mounting a serious challenge in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, they have been hit with fines after breaching financial regulations, and Azeez is a more affordable option than other players they have been linked to this summer. A move to the Villa Park could see Azeez replace England international Morgan Rogers, who has already been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.
Ipswich Town
Newly promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town have also shown strong interest in Azeez and could win the race to sign the exciting Nigerian winger this summer as well.
The Tractor Boys have already submitted an offer of £20 million last month, although Millwall immediately rejected the offer.
However, they should still return with an improved offer as they view Azeez as a player capable of strengthening their attack, as they aim for a long stay in the top flight after sealing promotion.

Bournemouth
Azeez could also end up at Bournemouth this summer if they manage to meet Millwall’s valuation ahead of other interested clubs. The Cherries are preparing for a massive rebuild after earning qualification to the Europa League ahead of next season.
Andoni Iraola has already left the club, and several other players could follow the Spanish coach out of the club.
With this in mind, Azeez has emerged as one of the options they are considering and with their fast-paced style of football, the Super Eagles winger would thrive at the club, making him a very appealing option.

Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton & Hove Albion have also shown interest in signing Femi Azeez and could end up with the Nigerian forward ahead of next season.
The Seagulls are also preparing to add more quality to their team and the Super Eagles winger is highly rated and a move could be on the cards if they meet Millwall’s valuation this summer, which could see Azeez fulfill his dreams of playing in the Premier League.
