Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey officially joined Spanish side Villareal on a one-year deal for 2025-2026 season, club confirmed.
The 32-year-old free agent will join his new teammates on Friday.
Partey left Arsenal after the club refused to meet his contract demands of a two-year deal or a one-year contract with an option for extra 12 months.

Last season Partey played 52 games for the Gunners, chipping in with five goals and two assists. In his five-year spell at Arsenal, he made 167 appearances in total across all competitions.
