Gambian forward Dawda Darboe has signed for Estonian Premium Liiga side Paide Linnameeskond on a two-and-a-half-year contract following the conclusion of his loan spell with Slovak club FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
The move comes through a transfer collaboration involving his former Gambian clubs, Wallidan FC and Fortune FC, creating another pathway for young Gambian talent into European football.
Darboe spent the 2025/26 season on a year-long loan at ViOn Zlaté Moravce, where he featured for the club’s B team, making nine appearances and scoring twice.
He will now continue his European journey in Estonia with Paide, a club that has previously provided opportunities for several Gambian players and has established links with Gambian football.
