Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace for signing British born Nigerian attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze, journalist Ben Jacobs reports.

According to his information, after kicking off the Premier League season with a convincing 3-0 win over Burnley, Spurs are on the verge of a new transfer, while Crystal Palace are already working to find a replacement for the 27-year-old player.

Insider Aarón Ramiro also confirms the agreement between two clubs, while adding that the transfer fee for Eze’s permanent move is estimated at £50 million (€58 million) with £5 million (€5.8 million) in add-ons.

Contracted to Crystal Palace until June 30, 2027, the midfielder is valued at €55 million on Transfermarkt.

Crystal Palace got €70 million offer for Eberechi Eze’s transfer

Previously Sky Sports reported that Eze became Tottenham’s transfer target after Spurs’ attacking midfielder James Maddison suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

In 2020 Eze joined Palace from QPR for an initial €17.80 million fee, according to Transfermarkt, and has improved his goal and assists output in each of the past three seasons. Last year he registered 14 goals and 11 assists in 43 games across all domestic competitions.
