Ghanaian international right-back Tariq Lamptey is on the verge of joining Fiorentina from Brighton & Hove Albion F.C., Football Italia reports.
According to the report, the Italian side is seriously considering the possibility of signing the 24-year-old defender as a potential substitute for Brazilian back Dodo.
In June, Brighton & Hove Albion have secured the services of Lamptey for another year, after the dynamic right-back penned a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 24-year-old, who represents Ghana at international level, has been a key figure for the Seagulls since arriving from Chelsea in 2020.

Over the past five years, Lamptey has clocked up 122 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and registering 12 assists.
His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at around €11 million.
