Italian side Fiorentina reached agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion over the Ghanaian right-back Tariq Lamptey transfer, as per Caught Offside.

It is reported that the 23-year-old will complete his permanent move for a fee of around £6 million (€6,9 million), including performance-related add-ons, with his arrival in Italy expected over the weekend to undergo medicals.

In June, Brighton & Hove Albion have secured the services of Lamptey for another year, after the dynamic right-back penned a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The 24-year-old, who represents Ghana at international level, has been a key figure for the Seagulls since arriving from Chelsea in 2020.

Over the past five years, Lamptey has clocked up 122 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and registering 12 assists.

His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at around €11 million.
