Chukwueze joined Milan from Spanish side Villarreal ahead of the 2023/24 season. Last season, he managed 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring just three goals and providing two assists – numbers that fell short of the club’s expectations.
His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €10 million.
Last week, it was believed that Atalanta could be Chukwueze’s next destination. The Bergamo club has contacted AC Milan management in an attempt to sign the 26-year-old. Atalanta’s management was preparing to make a €12 million offer to the AC Milan board to complete the deal. A four-year contract with an optional one-year contract was being discussed, but the deal never went through.
