Manchester United have reopened negotiations with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as they continue their search for a top-class centre-forward ahead of the new season, as per Foot Mercato.

The Napoli-owned forward, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, has not reached an agreement with Saudi giants Al-Hilal despite a lucrative offer. With a return to Napoli now considered unlikely, Osimhen is actively seeking a new club.

According to sources close to the player, Manchester United have resumed discussions with Osimhen in recent days. The two parties had previously engaged in talks in early May, and the current discussions are based on similar terms: a proposed annual salary of €12 million for the player and a €75 million package—including bonuses—for Napoli.

While Galatasaray remain hopeful of keeping the 25-year-old for another season, the renewed interest from Old Trafford could significantly change the landscape. United are also still monitoring other striker options, including Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres, but Osimhen remains a priority target.

Further updates are expected as talks progress.
