Zambian teen sensation Pascal Phiri has attracted strong interest from several Egyptian clubs following his impressive displays in the CAF Confederation Cup, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
Phiri was the standout performer on Sunday against Al Masry in Zesco United’s 3-2 home defeat.
The 20-year-old made an immediate impact after coming on as a second-half substitute, providing an assist and coming close to scoring the equaliser.

Egyptian clubs that monitored the match closely have now placed him on their radar.
Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm that Pyramids and Zamalek are the leading sides that have already made enquiries about the winger.
Pyramids are expected to push for a January move, with representatives of the reigning CAF Champions League winners having watched him in Ndola and initiating talks with Zesco immediately after the match.
Sources close to the player say Phiri and his handlers are open to accepting a good offer. Although his long-term ambition is to move to Europe, he is willing to consider a strong proposal should it come his way.
At the moment, Pyramids appear to be leading the race for his signature.
