Fulham loanee Samuel Chukwueze is understood to be keen on extending his spell at Craven Cottage beyond this season, with the Nigerian winger said to be enjoying life under Marco Silva.

The 26-year-old joined the London club from AC Milan in the summer on a season-long loan that includes an option to buy. After a difficult spell in Serie A โ€” where he registered eight goals and six assists in 70 appearances and struggled to secure a regular starting place โ€” the move was seen as an opportunity to relaunch his career.

Chukwueze has made an encouraging start in west London. Despite limited minutes so far, he has produced two goals and three assists in eight outings in all competitions, offering early signs that he could play a more prominent role as the campaign progresses.

Off the pitch, the former Villarreal winger is reportedly thriving. TEAMtalk reports that Chukwueze has been impressed by the atmosphere around the club and has formed a strong working relationship with Silva, whose influence is believed to have helped restore the playerโ€™s confidence.

Chukwueze is said to feel โ€œpersonally fulfilledโ€ under the Portuguese manager and is hopeful that his loan could be converted into a permanent transfer next summer โ€” a prospect that may suit both Fulham and Milan. The Italian club, who signed him in 2023, no longer view him as part of their long-term plans.

The Nigeria international remains under contract at San Siro until 2028 and is currently valued at around โ‚ฌ10m.
