In a significant development, the Abrankese-based club has reportedly granted Simpson permission to enter discussions with the interested suitors, paving the way for negotiations as the winter market approaches.
Since joining Nations FC in 2023, Simpson has grown into one of the most dependable figures in the squad. His leadership at the back and occasional contributions in attack have seen him register six goals in 65 appearances, underlining his importance to the team.
Beyond his current club, the defender boasts a wealth of experience in the Ghana Premier League. Over the years, he has featured for Ashantigold, WAFA, Liberty Professionals and Nations FC, amassing an impressive 98 top-flight appearances across those stints.
His consistent performances have not gone unnoticed at international level. In November 2025, Simpson earned his first call-up to the Black Stars and has since gone on to make six appearances, even finding the back of the net once for the national side.
