Gambian international Musa Juwara is edging closer to a potential move away from Polish Ekstraklasa side Pogoń Szczecin, with growing interest from Turkish heavyweights Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor ahead of the winter transfer window, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.

The 24-year-old attacker only joined the Szczecin-based club last summer from Danish outfit Vejle Boldklub, but his performances have quickly drawn attention beyond Poland. Despite still settling into a new league and environment, Juwara has featured prominently for Pogoń this season, registering 16 league appearances, including 10 starts, and accumulating 962 minutes of action. In that time, he has contributed a goal and an assist, underlining his value as a dynamic and versatile attacking option.

Sources close to the club has indicated to Footy-Africa that Pogoń Szczecin are open to a sale this winter, largely due to financial considerations. Juwara is understood to be among the higher earners at the club, and management is reportedly keen to restructure the wage bill by offloading players with significant salaries.

A move in January would therefore provide financial relief while capitalising on the strong market interest surrounding the Gambian.

For Juwara, a switch to Turkey could represent a major step forward in his career. All three interested clubs—Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor—are regular contenders in the Turkish Süper Lig and consistent participants in European competitions. Such a move would offer the former Gambia U23 captain a bigger platform to showcase his talent at both domestic and continental levels.

As the winter window approaches, all signs point to an imminent decision on Juwara’s future. With Turkish giants circling and Pogoń Szczecin willing to listen to offers, the coming weeks could prove decisive in determining the next chapter of the Gambian star’s career.
