Ugandan international and attacking midfielder Enock Ssebaggala has put pen to paper with seven-time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC, with official unveiling set for the coming days, Footy-Africa has exclusively confirmed.

The midfielder has signed a three-year contract at Vipers, who are strengthening their team ahead of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League. This comes just over a week since departing Uganda Premier League runners-up NEC FC.

An exclusive source at Vipers has confirmed to Footy-Africa that the player signed the contract earlier on Wednesday. It has also been revealed that he has done his media duties, with official unveiling and announcement set to follow in just hours or days.

β€œEnock (Ssebaggala) is now 100% complete and is fully a Vipers player. He was at St. Mary’s Stadium earlier today, did his medical, signed his contract and also completed the media duties. They will unveil him to the public in no time. He’s joined a very ambitious club that wants to go big on the continent, and he’s ready for the challenge,” the source exclusively told Footy-Africa.

In the concluded campaign, Ssebaggala made 26 appearances across the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup, scoring four goals and providing five assists. In the 2023/24 campaign, the midfielder featured in 20 league matches, recording three goals and registering four assists.

Meanwhile, at the international stage, Ssebaggala, made his senior debut for the Uganda Cranes this year, featuring in a friendly as they drew one-all with The Gambia. He is also part of the African Nations Championships (CHAN) Uganda Cranes squad set for the August tournament.
