Gambian striker Adama Sidibeh has emerged as a transfer target for English League One side Stockport County, who are keen to bolster their attacking options, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
The Hatters have already seen an initial bid for the Scorpions forward turned down, but they remain determined, having returned with an improved offer and ongoing talks aimed at sealing a deal for the 27-year-old.
Sidibeh’s rise has been nothing short of impressive. He joined St Johnstone FC during the 2023/24 Scottish Premiership season from non-league outfit Warrington Rylands, a move that initially raised eyebrows but has since been fully justified.

Since arriving in Perth, the powerful forward has gone on to make 80 appearances for the Saints, finding the back of the net 18 times and establishing himself as a reliable attacking outlet in Scottish top-flight football.
His consistent performances, work rate, and eye for goal have not only earned him admiration at club level but have also propelled him onto the international stage. Sidibeh recently received his maiden call-up to The Gambia national team, where he has quickly made an impact, posting impressive numbers and underlining his growing importance to the Scorpions’ attacking setup.
