Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have confirmed the departure of highly-rated midfielder Fuzy Taylor, who has secured a season-long loan move to Croatian giants GNK Dinamo Zagreb for the 2026/27 campaign.
The transfer marks a major breakthrough in the youngster’s career, handing him the opportunity to test himself in one of Europe’s respected talent-development environments while continuing his rapid rise in the game.
Taylor has established himself as one of the brightest midfield prospects in Ghana after a string of commanding performances for Medeama. His blend of technical quality, attacking flair, intelligence on the ball and ability to dictate the tempo of matches attracted attention from a number of clubs, but it is Dinamo Zagreb who have ultimately won the race for his signature.
The Croatian champions have long been regarded as one of Europe’s premier breeding grounds for elite footballers, making the move an exciting platform for the Ghanaian to sharpen his game and compete at a significantly higher level.
Speaking after sealing the transfer, Taylor expressed his delight at the opportunity to join one of Croatia’s biggest clubs.
“I am excited to begin this new chapter with GNK Dinamo Zagreb. This is a huge opportunity for me to develop as a player and compete at a higher level. I would like to thank Medeama SC for believing in me and supporting my journey. I am looking forward to giving my best and making the fans proud,” he said.
Medeama also celebrated the transfer, describing it as another milestone that reflects the club’s growing reputation for producing players capable of succeeding on the international stage.
Dinamo Zagreb’s rich tradition of nurturing exceptional talent is illustrated by the development of global stars such as Luka Modrić, Mateo Kovačić, and Joško Gvardiol, all of whom emerged through the club before enjoying distinguished careers at the highest level.
Taylor is expected to link up with his new teammates immediately as preparations intensify for the 2026/27 season, where he will be aiming to establish himself, accelerate his development and make an immediate impact in Croatian football.
