Gambian midfield prodigy Gibril Sosseh is on the verge of completing a high-profile move to Czech giants Slavia Praha from Swedish side Kalmar FF, with both clubs having reached an agreement on a €2.5 million transfer fee plus bonuses, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.

The deal is now in its final stages, with only minor details left to be settled before it is officially concluded.

Personal terms are not expected to pose any obstacles, as the 19-year-old has already agreed in principle to the move. Once finalized, the transfer will mark a significant step forward in Sosseh’s young career and further underline Slavia Praha’s commitment to investing in emerging talent from across Europe and Africa.

Sosseh enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Kalmar FF, playing a pivotal role in the club’s promotion to the Allsvenskan. The energetic midfielder made 24 appearances during the season, scoring three goals in 13 starts, and consistently impressed with his maturity, work rate, and composure well beyond his years. His performances quickly drew attention, making him one of the most sought-after young players in Swedish football.

If completed, the move to Slavia Praha will not only be a major milestone for Sosseh but also a moment of pride for Gambian football, as another young Scorpion takes a significant step onto the European stage.
