Highly rated Gambian youngster Gibril Sosseh (18) is on the verge of another step in his European journey, with negotiations ongoing for a loan move to Czech Republic top-flight side Bohemians 1905 from SK Slavia Praha, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
Sosseh only completed a permanent transfer to Slavia Praha this winter from Swedish club Kalmar FF, underlining the Czech giants’ belief in his long-term potential.
However, with intense competition for places at Slavia, the club is keen for the teenage prospect to gain valuable first-team experience elsewhere in the Czech First League.
Slavia Praha beat Brugge, Midtjylland and Oxford United to sign Gibril Sosseh
Talks between all parties are progressing well, and the deal could be finalized soon. In the meantime, Sosseh has already begun training with Bohemians 1905, signaling strong confidence that the move will be completed in the coming days.
The proposed loan is seen as a strategic move to accelerate the young attacker’s development, offering him regular playing time at the top-flight level while allowing Slavia Praha to closely monitor his progress.
