Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah has completed a move to South African Premier League side Stellenbosch FC as a free agent following his departure from Orlando Pirates.
Ndah will not be alone at his new club, as he links up with fellow Nigerian Kazie Enyinnaya, adding to the growing Nigerian presence within the Stellenbosch squad.
Speaking exclusively to Footy-Africa.com, the former Pirates defender expressed his delight at the move and his eagerness to make an immediate impact.
“I am delighted to be here. I am happy to be here and I am just looking forward to the games we have coming up,” Ndah said.
“I want to play as quickly as possible. I am ready to get back to work, that’s it for me. The focus now is to help the team win and finish the season in a good position. That is my goal and I can’t wait to get started.”
Prior to completing his switch to Stellenbosch, there were reports linking Ndah with a possible move to Libya. However, his camp played down those rumours, confirming only that there had been an approach from a top Libyan club, with no advanced negotiations taking place.

The 28-year-old centre-back parted ways with the Buccaneers by mutual consent after falling out of favour in the team, a situation largely influenced by a long-term injury that disrupted his momentum and limited his game time. Despite the setback, Ndah has now secured a fresh opportunity with Stellenbosch, where he will spend the remainder of the season, with an option to extend his contract for an additional year.
As previously suggested by Footy-Africa.com, the defender has chosen to remain in South Africa, a decision believed to be influenced by both footballing considerations and administrative stability.
Ndah joined Orlando Pirates ahead of the 2021/22 season and went on to make 81 appearances for the Soweto giants, scoring once and establishing himself as a reliable figure at the heart of defence before injury stalled his progress.
Now fully focused on the future, Ndah will be hoping his move to Stellenbosch marks the beginning of a strong comeback chapter in his career.
