Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini will join Birmingham City on loan from Union Saint-Gilloise with an option to make the move permanent, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
The 24-year-old has decided to leave the Belgian club after agreeing personal terms with Birmingham, with the two clubs also reaching an agreement over the transfer.
The deal is expected to be officially announced this week, with Fuseini set to undergo his medical before completing the final paperwork.
Fuseini was left out of Union SG’s squad for their match against Anderlecht over the weekend as the agreement with Birmingham had already been reached.
French side Troyes were among the clubs interested in the Ghanaian, but Fuseini was keen on a move to England and has opted to continue his career in the Championship.
The forward joined Union SG from Austrian club Sturm Graz in 2024 for a fee of around €2 million, having previously spent time on loan at Danish side Randers.
Fuseini will now look to complete his medical and finalise the move to Birmingham, where he will seek regular playing time and an opportunity to establish himself in English football.
