Musa Jatta has attracted strong interest from several European clubs, with Hungarian giants Ferencváros, Danish sides FC Copenhagen and Lyngby, and Norwegian club Tromsø IL all monitoring the Gambian centre-back, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
Tromsø have taken the next step by submitting an offer to Östers IF, with the Norwegian club now in advanced negotiations over a potential transfer for the 21-year-old defender. His agent, Modou Lamin Beyai is in the middle of the issue and expects a deal to be reached.
Jatta has established himself as an important player for Östers this season, featuring in 10 matches and starting nine, while accumulating more than 800 minutes of football.
The former BST Galaxy FC defender joined Östers from Finnish side AC Oulu in January 2026 and has continued to attract attention with his performances in the Swedish Superettan.
With Tromsø now pushing ahead in negotiations and interest also coming from clubs in Hungary and Denmark, Jatta could be heading towards another major step in his European career.
