Italian Serie A giants Napoli have reportedly joined the growing list of clubs showing interest in Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai, who currently plies his trade with Azerbaijani side Qarabağ FK, according to sources close to Footy-Africa.
Addai has been one of the standout performers in the Azerbaijan Premier League since completing his move to Qarabağ in the summer of 2024 from Spanish outfit AD Alcorcón. The 23-year-old attacker has impressed with his pace, creativity and attacking flair, quickly establishing himself as one of the league’s most exciting talents.
His eye-catching displays have not gone unnoticed across Europe. German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt previously attempted to secure his services during the January transfer window, but Qarabağ rejected their offer in order to retain the winger for the remainder of the campaign.
Interest in the Ghanaian continues to grow, with several clubs in the Premier League also believed to be monitoring his development closely as they weigh up potential moves ahead of the 2026–27 season.
Addai’s current contract with Qarabağ runs until June 30, 2026, placing the club in a delicate position as the summer transfer window approaches. With multiple teams circling and the player continuing to deliver strong performances, the Azerbaijani champions could face a difficult battle to keep hold of the talented left-footed winger.
Should Napoli decide to formalize their interest, the Serie A outfit could face stiff competition from across Europe for the signature of a player whose reputation continues to rise with every passing week.
