Italy-Ghana winger Patrick Nuamah has embarked on a new chapter in his burgeoning career after completing a season-long loan move from Sassuolo to Spanish side CE Sabadell.
The 20-year-old wide forward will spend the 2026/27 campaign with the LaLiga2 outfit after the transfer was finalised on 28 August, with the agreement running until 30 June 2027.
Nuamah arrives in Spain looking to build on his development in Italian football and gain valuable experience in a new environment. Predominantly deployed on the left flank despite being right-footed, the 1.79m attacker brings pace, versatility and an attacking threat to Sabadell’s frontline.
Born in Brescia, Nuamah has spent much of his formative years in the Italian football system. His footballing education began in the Brescia academy, where he steadily climbed through the youth ranks before making the transition towards senior football.
He joined Brescia’s Under-17 side in 2021 and was elevated to the senior setup a year later, laying the foundations for a move that would eventually take him to Sassuolo.
Sassuolo secured his services on a free transfer in July 2025, but immediately allowed the youngster to continue his development away from the club. Nuamah subsequently joined Serie B outfit Catanzaro on loan on 19 July 2025.
His spell at Catanzaro lasted through the 2025/26 season before he returned to Sassuolo at the end of June 2026.

Now, rather than remaining in Italy, Nuamah has opted for a fresh challenge across the border in Spain, with Sabadell providing the platform for his next stage of development.
The move also represents an opportunity for the winger to acquaint himself with the demands of Spanish football while competing regularly in the country’s second tier.
Nuamah has dual Italian and Ghanaian football backgrounds and remains one of the young players to have emerged through Italy’s development system with links to Ghana.
His profile has continued to attract attention, with his current market valuation reported at β¬1.6 million β the same figure recorded following his return to Sassuolo from Catanzaro.
For Sabadell, the acquisition adds another young attacking option ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. For Nuamah, meanwhile, the loan presents a chance to turn potential into consistent first-team production in Spain.
With his temporary switch now complete, the winger will remain contracted to Sassuolo while spending the season in the colours of CE Sabadell, before returning to the Italian club when the loan expires on 30 June 2027.
