Gambian rising star Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh is set to be under the spotlight this Saturday as Tromsø IL host Rosenborg BK at the Romssa Arena, as scouts from Leicester City are expected to attend the match, with the 2021 English Premier League winners showing strong interest in the commanding centre-back, Footy-Africa can exclusively reform.

18-year-old centre-back, who has been one of Tromsø’s most consistent performers this season, continues to impress with his composure, physicality, and ball-playing ability — qualities that have placed him firmly on the radar of top European clubs.

According to our exclusive information, in addition to Leicester City, Crystal Palace have also shortlisted the young defender as a potential long-term replacement for Marc Guehi, who is widely linked with a move away from Selhurst Park in the upcoming January transfer window.

Palace have already made inquiries as they explore the possibility of meeting Kinteh’s valuation.

As attention grows, Saturday’s match could become a defining moment for the Gambian talent, whose rapid rise in European football continues to inspire young players back home.
