Antoine Semenyo has called on his Manchester City teammates to remain fully focused and continue winning matches as the club pushes to keep its Premier League title ambitions alive this season.

The Ghana international joined the reigning champions during the January transfer window from AFC Bournemouth and has quickly become an influential figure in the squad with a series of impactful performances.

Semenyo proved decisive once again on Saturday, scoring the lone goal as Manchester City secured a narrow victory over Leeds United at Elland Road in their Week 28 encounter.

Semenyo soaring: Ghana star calls dreamy start at Man City a ‘fairytale’

After the match, the forward reflected on the significance of his strike and stressed the importance of maintaining momentum during the closing stages of the campaign.

According to Semenyo, winning every remaining fixture is the clearest path for City if they are to challenge for the title.

“Definitely [my most important goal for City ]. Every game is important, happy for the win but still a lot of games to go so we just need to keep going. All we can do is win our games,” the Black Stars forward said.

Antoine Semenyo continued:

“You dream to play at this level. It’s obviously tough but I’m embracing it. It’s pretty different, I’m usually just a wide man but I’m adapting and I’m just doing whatever I can for the team.”

Following his strike against Leeds United, Semenyo’s tally in the league has risen to 14 goals along with four assists from 27 appearances this season.

Manchester City currently sit second in the Premier League table, trailing leaders Arsenal F.C. by just two points as the title race intensifies.
