Nigerian duo Lucky Ezeh and Abdullahi Bewene are set to be among the names to watch when the winter transfer window opens, with credible sources confirming that both players are on the verge of securing moves away from their current clubs, Footy-Africa can exclusively report.

Their agency exclusively confirmed to Footy-Africa that January moves are already in the works, although destinations are being kept under wraps for now.

“I can tell you authoritatively that the two players will make a move this January to continue their careers elsewhere,” the agency told Footy-Africa. “For Lucky (Ezeh), he has offers from a club in Hungary and also another club in the Czech Republic. These are very concrete offers, and we are looking at them at the moment.”

“For Abdullahi (Bewene), he has offers from a club in Belgium and another club, the biggest club in the Czech Republic. The boys are talented and we are trying our best to see they maximise their talent with the kind of moves we have for them.”

Ezeh, a striker with Czech top-flight side MFK Karviná, has enjoyed a steady rise in the Chance Liga and is regarded as one of the brightest young attacking talents in the division.

While his numbers this season stand at two goals and two assists, those close to the club insist his overall contribution, work rate and movement have made him a highly valued member of the squad.

At just 21, Ezeh’s performances have not gone unnoticed, and interest in his services has grown steadily in recent months. A January exit now looks increasingly likely as clubs move early to secure his signature.

Abdullahi Bewene, meanwhile, is also attracting attention. The 20-year-old right midfielder, born on November 29, 2004, currently plays for FC Baník Ostrava, having joined the club in July 2023.

Bewene has made eight appearances this season and has been tipped by several observers to take the next step in his career with a move in the upcoming transfer window.

Both players are understood to be on the radar of clubs within the Czech Republic and beyond.
