Hart FC forward Alfusainey Ceesay has emerged as one of the latest Gambian talents attracting attention from Europe, with Turkish giants Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe among the clubs monitoring his progress ahead of a potential move, Footy-African can exclusively reveal.
The highly rated attacker has also drawn interest from Turkish second-tier side İstanbulspor following an impressive campaign in Gambian football.
Ceesay enjoyed a standout season with Hart FC, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 23 appearances. His direct involvement in 11 goals has established him as one of the club’s most influential attacking players and caught the attention of scouts from Türkiye.
While no formal agreement has yet been reached, growing interest from clubs of such stature highlights the rapid rise of the young forward and the recognition his performances have earned.

Should the interest develop into a transfer, Ceesay would become only the second player from Hart FC to secure a move to Türkiye, following Saikouba Jarju’s transfer to Samsunspor. He would also continue the provincial club’s growing reputation for producing professional footballers, adding to the success story of Nfansu Dibba, who moved to Swedish side IF Karlstad Fotboll.
A move to Turkish football would represent a major breakthrough in Ceesay’s career and further strengthen Hart FC’s reputation as a breeding ground for emerging Gambian talent. With the summer transfer window still open, the coming weeks could prove decisive as interest in the prolific attacker continues to gather momentum.
