Mike Makaab, who represents Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah, has played down rumours of a potential move to Libyan side Al Shomooa after his exit from Orlando Pirates in an exclusive interview with Footy-Africa.
The Super Eagles defender mutually parted ways with the South African club last month to become a free agent and has been linked with a move to join the Libyan outfit.
The 28-year-old joined the Buccaneers in 2021 from Nigerian Premier Football League side Akwa United and went on to become a key part of the squad upon his arrival.
However, recurrent injuries made him lose his starting berth, before he requested for an early release from his contract in search of regular playing minutes to boost his chances of receiving an international call-up from Nigerian head coach Eric Chelle.

When asked if an agreement has been reached with Al Shomooa over a potential transfer for the 6 ft 2 defender, Makaab confirmed the rumours to be false.
“It is false”, Makaab exclusively told Footy-Africa.
The respected football agent further stated that the Nigerian defender does not have a preferred destination at the moment.
“No club yet”, he added.
Ndah made 81 appearances across all competitions during his time with the South African club and won the MTN8 Cup three times during his four-and-a-half year stay.
Ndah is currently a free agent and remains eligible to join any club despite the closure of the transfer window as he looks to secure regular playing time and improve his chances of a recall to the national team.
