Scottish giants Celtic are interested in signing Zambian striker Chanka Zimba on a free transfer, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
Sources close to the player have told Footy-Africa that Zimba is currently in talks with two clubs, including Celtic.
“There is growing interest from several clubs, but I can confirm Celtic are interested. However, no talks have started yet,” the source said.
Zimba is set to leave Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC after helping the club secure the Scottish League One title and promotion to the second tier.
Caledonian Thistle confirmed that the 24-year-old forward will depart at the end of the season following the expiration of his contract.

The striker joined the Scottish side at the start of the campaign from English sixth-tier outfit Marine FC and went on to enjoy an impressive season, scoring 19 goals and providing four assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.
Zimba’s fine form in Scotland earned him a call-up to the Zambia national team, where he made his debut against Argentina in April this year.
