Super League Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze faces an uncertain future at AC Milan ahead of the summer transfer window.
The former Villarreal winger has been at the Italian club since joining them in 2023, but his time at the club has been largely underwhelming, failing to replicate the form he showed in Spain, which made them splash the cash on his signature.
Chukwueze spent the entire 2025-26 season on loan at Premier League club Fulham, where he reunited with Super Eagles teammates Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi. He initially impressed before his form dipped towards the end of the season. Despite this, the Cottagers did not activate the option to make the move permanent, which then saw the 27-year-old return to Italy.
It looks unlikely that he would remain in Italy for next season and could end up leaving the club once again for a second straight summer. Here are four potential destinations for the Super Eagles winger.
Bournemouth (England)
Premier League side Bournemouth could make a move for Chukwueze this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season, where they will be participating in European football for the first time in the club’s history.
The Cherries have already seen Antoine Semenyo leave in recent months and are also likely to lose some other players this summer.
Chukwueze brings experience playing in the Premier League after his spell at Fulham last season and also has experience playing in European competitions, which will be very appealing to the English club.

Everton (England)
Another Premier League club that could end up signing Chukwueze is Everton, who will be looking for reinforcements ahead of next season as they look to challenge for European qualification.
The Toffees will see Jack Grealish return to Manchester City after the end of his loan spell, while Iliman Ndiaye is also very likely to leave given the amount of interest he has attracted from several clubs this summer.
Chukwueze not only slots in perfectly on the wings but also offers top-level experience in the top-flight and would be a very suitable replacement.

Real Betis (Spain)
Spanish side Real Betis have been long term admirers of Chukwueze and could offer him a potential way back to the La Liga if they push for a move this summer.
The 2022 Copa del Rey winners are preparing for their first Champions League season in 21 years and need to reinforce their squad ahead of next season, in order to mount a serious challenge in Europe and also to compete among the top clubs in the La Liga and Chukwueze represents a very good addition to their squad.

Villarreal (Spain)
Chukwueze rose to prominence at Villarreal and could return to the club after three years away to rediscover the form he once showed during his early days in European football.
The 27-year-old will require very little time to adapt at the club and would be assured of playing time as well, with the Yellow Submarines set for a grueling schedule next season in Europe and also domestically, making him a very attractive option for reinforcement.
