Reports linking Ghana goalkeeper Benjamin Asare with a move to French side Toulouse have been dismissed, with Footy-Africa.com understanding that the Hearts of Oak shot-stopper has not received any official offers.
The 33-year-old has been one of Ghana’s standout performers at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, keeping clean sheets against Panama and England after stepping in for the injured Lawrence Ati-Zigi.
Despite the growing transfer speculation, sources close to the player insist there has been no approach from Toulouse or any other club and reject all the rumours.
Asare remains under contract with Hearts of Oak until June 2027 after signing an extension last year, having previously turned down an offer from Djibouti.
Ghana frustrate England as Black Stars edge closer to World Cup knockout stage
While no concrete bids have arrived, there is an expectation that the goalkeeper could secure a move abroad following the World Cup if he continues his impressive form for the Black Stars.
With Ghana pushing for a place in the knockout stages, Asare’s immediate focus remains on the national team, but his performances have undoubtedly strengthened his reputation on the international stage.
