Gambia captain Omar Colley has completed a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Fayha, signing a one-year contract after leaving fellow Saudi club Al-Diriyah.
According to Footy-Africa’s exclusive information, Colley was in talks with Al-Diriyah over a possible contract extension, but an agreement could not be reached after the club proposed that the experienced defender take a pay cut as part of the new terms.
The 33-year-old joined Al-Diriyah as a free agent in July 2025 following his departure from Greek giants PAOK FC, initially joining the club while they were competing in the Saudi second tier.
Colley played a key role in their historic campaign, helping Al-Diriyah secure promotion to the Saudi Pro League. Since joining the club, he has made 34 appearances and largely served as club captain, providing leadership and experience at the back.
Now, the Scorpions captain begins another chapter in Saudi Arabia with Al-Fayha, where he will bring his considerable experience to a new challenge in the Pro League.
