Turkish Super League side Antalyaspor signed Gambian midfielder Jesper Ceesay from Sweden’s IFK Norrköping to a three-year contract following a successful medical, club’s media team reports.
According to Footy-Africa’s exclusive information, Antalyaspor paid €445,000 for the Swedish striker’s transfer, whose impressive performances last season have caught the eye of multiple European clubs.
“We welcome Jesper and wish him continued success under our red and white crest,” official announcement says.

Initially, Ceesay was linked with another Turkish Super League club, Konyaspor, as the two clubs reached an agreement on a transfer fee.
However, those negotiations quickly fell apart when Ceesay’s agent reportedly demanded a high commission fee, a demand which Konyaspor turned down.
Earlier this summer Bolton Wanderers were in talks over Ceesay’s transfer but the deal never went through.
Gambian defensive mdfielder joined IFK Norrköping in 2023. Last season Ceesay registered one goal and one assists across 16 games in domestic competitions.
