It is reported that the 27-year-old Nigerian international’s entourage has tried to find out if the Spanish side is still interested in acquiring him before the transfer window deadline.
Although, according to the report, the door might be already closed because the club isn’t entirely convinced by the investment that would be required.

New offer for Lookman: Inter Milan continue talks with Atalanta
Last week, Inter Milab submitted an improved offer to Atalanta B.C. front office for Lookman’s transfer. Previously, Nerazzurri rejected €45 million bid from rivals from Milan, despite the player’s strong desire to make the switch within the Serie A.
Also, it was reported that a surprise candidate has emerged as Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo looked to bolster the offensive depth with Lookman.
Despite being under contract until 2027 with Italian side Atalanta, Lookman publicly informed the club’s top brass of his desire to leave this summer.
