Nigerian striker David Okereke is expected to sign with Cercle Brugge K.S.V. by the end of the summer transfer window, according to Africafoot.
Clubs are busy completing their final deals before the deadline. As that is the case for Cercle Brugge K.S.V., which has just launched a campaign to recruit the 27-year-old centre-forward.
Having moved from Cercle Bruges to Cremonese for €2.5 million in 2022, Okereke is believed to be on the verge of returning to the Belgian club.
According to Africafoot’s sources close to the player, the Belgian club has submitted an offer of €3 million to Cremonese management to secure the services of the Nigerian striker for the next three years.
The 27-year-old Nigerian striker, who was loaned to Gaziantep in the Turkish Süper Lig last summer, has a contract with the Italian club until June 2026.
This Saturday, he may have played his last match for Cremonese, in the match against AC Milan 2-1 on Matchday 2 of Serie A.
Okereke’s current Transfermarkt value is estimated at around €2.20 million.
